UPDATES ARCHIVE NEW STUFF ~ July 16, 2007 Two new wallpapers, one for Naruto and one for Death Note [yay!]
RANT I've had my first exam session here at Oosaka Institute of Foreign Studies ~ and I survived. Apparently, there've been several foreign students who committed suicide in our dorm in the past few years, so I seem to be pretty lucky to have found someone to bring me back from my exam-induced depression [...I'm not stupid, I just tend to make lots of stupid mistakes, and the teachers are picky enough to... well, pick on them >.>] Those of you who've been watching me on LJ or DeviantArt already know the scoop. For the rest of the world ~ well, it's unimportant. I'm alive, summer vacation is starting in two weeks [Y.E.S.!], and I can't wait to grab my stuff and move under a bridge in Akihabara for at least one week. Otaku POWER! Dead. ...just felt like pointing that out :) At any rate, I didn't give up on this website, I've just had some... trouble adjusting to the new life in Japan ~ and especially to the really lame Internet policy here. Our university is more or less in the middle of nowhere, and the closest thing to a wireless network we have could easily be outrun by dial-up anytime >.> Some lucky bastards got wireless from another company, but since I'm not 20 yet, there's very slim chances I'll be able to do the same. More's the pity :( RANT ~March 23, 2007 First off, many thanks for all those of you who've been patiently waiting for an update. This time, I was late due to some... well... pretty nasty unforeseen circumstances [read: going 'round the country, saying good-bye to folks here and there ~ and most of the time, no net available for miles around]. Frankly, I hope the next update will come in about two weeks or so, seeing as I'm leaving for Japan on April 3rd and it's going to take a little to get an Internet connection up and running there [...hopefully, it's going to take just a little ^_^']. Taihen, taihen... *grumbles* I'm not sure if someone up there hates me (heck, I'm not even sure if there actually is someone 'up there' - maybe they're right here among us and we're not bright enough to notice it, but heck ^_^'), or I just have a certain talent of screwing things up whenever they seem to be finally sorting out. It's been a terrible week - first the flu, then my folks coming to visit, then some more of the flu (I still have a runny nose, for cryin' out loud >_>), then a heap of work, then another heap of work twice as big as the previous one, and finally... I'm moving to Osaka in April :) Yep, that's some pretty big news, isn't it? I've already bragged about it here and there and I feel that it's getting a bit old; nonetheless, I'm thrilled that I'll finally get to see the land of my dreams. Sure, there's a huge probability that I won't like it in the end [or at least that I'll discover it not to be the 'promised land' I've been dreaming of], but hey, if life would be all sunshine and butterflies, where would the fun be? On other news, Serious Sam 2 has got me totally hooked. Play it if you've got the chance. Serious Sam pwnz. Seriously. Oh, and if you've got a minute, check out my DeviantArt page. It's not that bright, but heck, at least it's there :) *** NEW STUFF! ~ DECEMBER 28, 2006 ~ HAPPY NEW YEAR! Added a brand new Toons (and movies) section, with fanfiction from series Beast Wars / Beast Machines, Harry Potter [Marauders timeline], Lord of the Rings and X-Men: Evolution. More to come. Check out the Games section also -- it archives my old Legacy of Kain, Mortal Kombat and Warcraft III / Frozen Throne, as well as a brand new twisted parodies section that's just kicked off with a Legacy of Kain: Blood Omen 2 album. The Anime section is now complete with several new subsections, including Renders you can use for your own graphics, a new fanfiction page for Wolf's Rain and an updated page for Bleach. Seven Stars has a brand new Fun section and an improved Extra section, which I'll let you explore on your own. Wouldn't want to spoil any surprise ;) RANTING... A while ago, I came across an archive of my former websites, lost somewhere on my old HDD. And I realized not everything in that archive was junk. Therefore, I carefully picked out any useful bit of information (like old fanfics and rants, for instance), and decided to give them a new home. The prospect of starting a new website from scratch was like 'eww, no way', and since I also happened to hate Seven Stars' former layout (i-frames are kinda last decade, I'd say ^_^'), I settled down in front of my laptop on Christmas night (yes, some of us really have no life...) and came up with this layout instead. Side note: after I changed the layout, I kicked back and listened to gipsy music while I typed in the rest of the content. Gipsy music haters, don't throw rotten tomatoes. This stuff sounds kinda cool after you get used to it :)) |
