Author’s Note: Wow… I can’t believe I finally finished this! This story is set in an alternate X-Men: Evolution universe and it is nothing else but pure humor and randomness - the two things I’m famous for. ~ Chapter 3: Uh-oh… ~

John had plain refused to get up despite their combined efforts, and so just the two were left to carry out their plan. Absorbing Kitty’s powers turned out to be easier than both Rogue and Remy had expected. Tired after the morning Danger Room session, Kitty had dozed off, and touching her was an easy job. After that, getting inside the Cerebro room and putting glue inside the helmet was only a matter of minutes. Finally, Rogue and Remy phased out of the Cerebro room, and leaned against the door, both panting.

“Ah hope we won’t get in trouble”, said Rogue. “Ah mean, what if…”

Suddenly, Rogue jerked Remy’s hand and pulled him through the wall to their left, just as Professor Xavier went around the corner in his wheelchair.

“What was that for?” Remy asked, confused.

“What are you two doing here?”

Rogue and Remy both flinched at the voice. They knew all too well who it was… and they knew it was bad news.

“Well?” Logan snarled, seemingly in a very bad mood.

“We were just… eh… you know…”

“Looking for a… quiet place.”

Rogue glared at Remy. The Cajun shrugged. Logan’s brows went up in mock surprise.

“Well this ain’t the place, so get outta here.”

“Yes sir!” Rogue took Remy’s hand and phased them both through the floor. This time, they landed on something soft.

“Ow!”

Remy quickly jumped aside, pulling Rogue with him, and shoved her out the door before getting out as well and slamming it hard. Not looking where they were going, they ran straight into Jamie, sending tiny little doubles of him everywhere.

“I must’ve been dreaming…” came Magneto’s sleepy voice, muffled by the door.

“What are you two doing?” asked about a dozen Jamies, eyes wide.

Rogue phased them through the floor again, and this time, the hallway they had descended into was quiet and deserted.

Rogue immediately slumped against a wall. “Whoa.”

“What a ride”, Remy agreed with a sigh.”

“Yeah…”

They were still holding hands, and Rogue shuffled her left foot, at a loss for words. Remy shrugged, “Jean wasn’t with the prof, was she?”

“No.”

“Then Rogue and Remy get in trouble for sure.”

Rogue managed a small smile. “Yeah…”

“So, I guess our deal is off then?”

“What deal?”

“The one with the kiss?”

“Ah… guess so, yeah…”

Merde. And Remy was really going to enjoy it.”

Rogue gave him a slap across the back, “Shut up.”

“Silence me.”

Rogue sighed. Remy closed his eyes, then, before she could do anything, leaned in and kissed her lightly. The energy loss made him dizzy for a few seconds, but he recovered quickly.

Rogue was obviously trying to pull herself together enough to tell him something really stern. Remy smiled, then kissed her gloved hand with a grin. Rogue paused, unsure of what to do, then grinned back.

“Ah hate you, Cajun.”

“Remy know. And Remy love you, too.”
