~ Chapter 2: Rogue makes a suggestion ~

“…So, what do Ah have to do with all this?”

Remy took in a deep breath, then let it out slowly. He had spent the last five minutes explaining his plan to Rogue, and trying to get her to help him and John. Convincing the Goth girl wasn’t an easy job, and Remy was beginning to regret having asked Rogue, of all people, for assistance. Taking advantage of the fact that Remy was highly distracted, John had dozed off, and his snoring broke the silence of the room oddly.

“You, chère, are the key to our plan. You see, once you absorb Kitty’s powers, you will be able to phase Remy inside. Then all you have to do is sit back, relax and leave the rest to Remy.”

“Oh. And what’s in it for me? I mean, Ah risk my butt for you - what do Ah get in return?”

“How about a kiss?”

Rogue blushed slightly. “You know what happens when Ah touch someone…”

“It would be worth to pass out just to get a kiss from a beautiful girl like you”, Remy teased. “Besides”, he added hurriedly, seeing that she was about to make a harsh remark, “You get to see Jean suffer.”

Rogue grinned widely. “So, what will you put inside Cerebro?”

Remy tapped his lip lightly. “Remy think about chewing-gum.”

“Nah… Here’s a suggestion. How about quick drying glue?”
